Schneiderlin was in League 1 with Southampton
Gana was playing for Lille B
Sigurdsson was in the Championship with Reading

Players, particularly midfielders, get better as they get experience.

Hes allowed plenty of scope to improve, im expecting him to improve, the boy is 20 years old, hes played 70 times for Everton, nobody is suggesting hes peaked at all.

The criticism of him has been too harsh in my opinion. If he was 24 and hadn’t improved from now then fair enough but he could still turn out to be a very good midfielder with more to his game than any of our starting midfielders currently.

I haven't been a fan of Davies but he was decent today. Now it is up to him to make that a normal performance rather than that being one of his best on a regular basis or he won't last long here.
