The midfield is a mess - and when midfields more than often win games for you then that’s a huge issue.

Obviously hugely unlucky with gomes and gbamin - but schneiderlin...and Davies...aren’t going to better many midfields in the prem.

Desperately needs sorting in January

Davies should get hammered for that last goal, in our current situation, away to second in the prem, holding a morale boosting point, and he gifts the ball away. Just plain idiotic.

You want someone who doesn’t press, doesn’t pass forward, jogs when trying to chase the ball, do nothing but slow down the entire team?

Davies has a bad day, but that does not mean he is worst than Schneiderlin.

Simple really, if Morgan was on the pitch for 90 minutes today he doesn’t make the mistakes leading to the goals. I think we win with him on the pitch but maybe not but we certainly don’t lose that game. Tom Davies cost Everton the game today and he should know that he’s cost Marco Silva his job now too.

I mean I'd have anyone in midfield over Tom Davies, but not Scheniderlin. You say he wont make those mistakes but I distinctly remember him getting absolutley jogged round for Southamptons equaliser.

I dont rate Davies whatsoever, but to compare to that fraud in Morgan is nonsense. And to say Davies is to fault for Silva losing his job, incorrect. Silva will be losing his job based on Marco's Silva performance as Everton manager. We went 3 wins in 16 games last season from derby to derby. We are also even worse this season. He has no tactical nouse at all. No plan, no backbone, no clue.

He’s garbage but because he’s a local lad he gets a free pass. Him and DCL are both out of their depth. This team will not m improve with these two clowns playing in each week.

Seens as the other thread got locked no he’s not the worst ever but he is standing right next to Cuco Martina for me, absolutely awful player, at fault for both goals, and I reckon he lost every 50/50 today.

that’s just speculation. Do you realise how many awful performances we’ve had with Schneiderlin in the team? Much more awful than we’ve seen today by a thousand miles.

Davies is the culprit today but Schneiderlin is the culprit every game he plays.

Was awful today, see him jog back when he gave it away for the first goal too. Too much smoke been blown up this lads backside for me, wouldn’t get in any side challenging for top honours playing like that.
