Was awful today, see him jog back when he gave it away for the first goal too. Too much smoke been blown up this lads backside for me, wouldn’t get in any side challenging for top honours playing like that.

He’s not the only one.

I don't think he'd get into any squad in the entire division, and likely wouldn't start for most clubs a division down.

1st lost possesion very cheaply....allowing them to charge through midfield.

2nd ....last minute of added time hes up the field trying to play a one two and loses it....midfield wide open where he should have been....brainless.

I’ll be honest I think he’s done okay this season since coming in, certainly better than watching delph and schneiderlin crabbing around the pitch. Lads had a stinker today though and to lose the ball like that for their last goal was unacceptable.

I mean I'd have anyone in midfield over Tom Davies, but not Scheniderlin. You say he wont make those mistakes but I distinctly remember him getting absolutley jogged round for Southamptons equaliser.

I dont rate Davies whatsoever, but to compare to that fraud in Morgan is nonsense. And to say Davies is to fault for Silva losing his job, incorrect. Silva will be losing his job based on Marco's Silva performance as Everton manager. We went 3 wins in 16 games last season from derby to derby. We are also even worse this season. He has no tactical nouse at all. No plan, no backbone, no clue.

Don’t get me wrong Silva needs to go and should go tonight if the Club have any desire for anything above mediocrity but I can only criticise his subs today, he got everything else spot on to beat them but because of Davies’ mistakes for the goals we’re left here 17th.

As for that “fraud” Schneiderlin, if he put the performances in that Davies has for the past while then the abuse he gets already would’ve been multiplied tenfold. I’m not saying he’s a great player, not even a good one but if you or anyone thinks Tom Davies who’s had one good game in his career is anywhere close to a full French international like Morgan Schneiderlin then I’m sorry but you’re just wrong. Neither should be starting but if it’s a choice between the 2 then it’s a no brainier. Davies is not anywhere close. If he was at any other club they’d have shipped him out long ago.

Tbf, he was literally our fifth choice midfielder at the start of the season and has only got in because they're dropping like flies. We'd all love Gomes and Gbamin starting every week but they're both missing a leg currently.

that’s just speculation. Do you realise how many awful performances we’ve had with Schneiderlin in the team? Much more awful than we’ve seen today by a thousand miles.

Davies is the culprit today but Schneiderlin is the culprit every game he plays.

I’ll never understand why Everton fans always and consistently make up these opinions on players and they just stick with them.

Over the past year I’ve seen people berate Schneiderlin, Gylfi and recently even Delph saying they’re useless or crabs or whatever and then these same people call for Davies, Dowell and Baningime to be played ahead of them. Those are 3 lads who would never get near any other Premier League side but somehow they’re better than full internationals who’ve been playing at the top level for years. It baffles me how we constantly as a fan base we under rate these senior players and at the same time massively over rate the academy players just because they’re local. Does my head in.

I couldn’t care less if it was 11 foreign lads or 11 local lads in the team as long as we won but there’s this weird obsession that since Rooney we have some great academy and all they need is a chance. Any other team would’ve gutted the youth setup we have here and seen that the vast majority can only dream of being Championship players at best. Davies is crap and there’s still lads older than him with the youth team who we still pay every week to try to “compete” for places. Disgrace.

People acting like he never gets abuse. Ha. It’s fine if you don’t rate him, but don’t pretend he isn’t constantly under scrutiny even when he isn’t at fault. That said, he had an abominable effort today. I knew that pairing with sigurdsson would be a disaster.
