.....his game is probably all about being a foil so others can play, which is good because he doesn’t play much himself. That left foot shot from 25 yards late in the 2nd half summed up his lack of quality, a player at this level should be better than that.

He is more than that. His first time pass and his willingness to risks passing forward are crucial when it comes to counter. Our forward benefits more from such quick optimistic passing.

Plenty of raw material for Carlo to work with.

But he really needs to show his worth now and become a fixture in the side on merit.

We need consistency and leadership from him.

Is now entering the defining period of his Everton career.

....his passing is actually quite poor, as we found out late on against Leicester.

Yes indeed one of his area to improves but on the other hand I can also understand it is due to higher risks. He can always choose the safer passes but what’s the point of being Schneiderlin 2.0? Counter attacking football comes with lots of risky optimistic passing so I’m fine.

All the critics saying what does he offer? Have none of u seen Jordan Henderson, he’s made a career of it and for England too. Tom is still developing and playing under different mangers constantly. We don’t seem to play to our players strengths, we have a talented squad but have 11 players playing diffenrt roles each week. Give Tom a chance guys he’s only 21 and has time to develop into a good player

Not convinced in the slightest, not sure he’s even premier league quality tbh. He’s worse now then when he first came into the team.

....it’s all about quality, or lack of quality in Davies’ case. its essential we maintain possession, it’s what the best teams do, especially away from home but Davies struggles to do that. I’m nervous when he has the ball.

I think he’l turn out to be a decent holding midfielder, wether or not that’s the role he wants to play I’m not sure, holding midfielders haven’t got to have flair or ping wonder balls like pirlo, he’s good at making interceptions and picking out simple balls, I just hope he’s given time to develop, getting rid of a 21 year old with PL experience is stupid
