What a statement, do you think Everton would even make the top four I don't sadly. BTW what will you say when TD starts in the next round of the cup. I'LL get behind him and support him. He is a decent player

Top 4? Not currently, you need two players to get you 13+ goals and one to get you 20 +. Not sure we have that yet. Our squad depth is now improving, which is why we don't see this awful Davies.

Next round of the Cup? Maybe. We didn't see him in the last one away at Lincoln, so it isn't guaranteed.

I make no apologies mate - I think Davies is awful and I find it weird the Echo run endless articles about him. I find it odd today that they say he's a "top quality player" when there is nothing to suggest he is. I find comparisons with Pienaar - made by the Football Mensa gang - to be grossly inaccurate.

The fact is that currently, he's fourth choice (after Gomes, Delph and Schneiderlin) in the middle, fifth when Gbamin returns. He's been guffing on about being an attacking midfielder now - and that's great if you want a slow of thought, slow of action, non-goalscoring attacking mid. Realistically he's behind Gylfi, Iwobi, Bernard, even Richarlison for that attacking mid slot. There's nothing there.

You called the Bundesliga. EVERTON WOULD NOT WIN IT. TD Is more of a defensive midfield, certainly not an awful player as you say. Have you ever played football or is it just Playstation experience?

Aint a defensive mid for me should be box to box doing both roles, he needs a move to get game time and get some conifdence and form back

We'd absolutely batter nigh-on everyone in the Bundesliga, probably except Bayern

De Bruyne? Perisic? Naldo?

Sniff it

I don't get the animosity for the kid, (barnet and fashion sense aside!) He's living the life we can only dream of, he literally, physically and metaphorically has The Dream Life! He's a local lad and a proud Blue, he cruised through our academy and everyone thought he was boss and then Martinez happened to him, followed by Koeman and Allardyce what chance did he have?
I mean has he actually cost us any points? Serious question, my memory is shot! He's not exactly been a liability too many times but he is trying and at 21 he still has plenty of time to be properly coached and mature and develop to be a quality player for us.

Just the weirdos on here furious that after some exposure to first team football (a lot under a disaster of a manager in a season gone horribly wrong) he hasn't turned world class. Glad he's been taken out for a bit tbh because he's a cracking lad and we don't half have some cretins in the crowd and in our fan base that like to abuse rather than support.

He's got something, even when my pals were watching Everton games with me, he caught their eyes. Bad menagment didn't helped him. Hope will see him in action soon.

Needs a loan move away as his career has definitely stagnated.

Im shocked we havent sanctioned one for him in the summer as he isnt getting a sniff here at present.

Preferably to an alehouse club who'll shave his barnet off and knock the Forever 21 trips on the head. Lad needs a bit of steel in him if he's to stay a central midfielder in the Prem.

Should just be wearing adidas traccies, have a shaved head and no character at all, would be a much better footballer then
