I´ll use United as an example because it looks like their forward play has turned a corner. The likes of Rashford, Martial and Greenwood just make things happen. Your job as a midfielder is so much easier when you´ve got players like that to hit. What happens if you pop it into DCL? He´ll likely control it and send it back to you. That´s harsh on him because he´s made big improvements this year but it´s the reality of our situation.

People think buying a couple of new midfielders will help but I think it´d quickly highlight the failings of our forward plays and the lack of understanding they have with each other. I´m not convinced they´ve truly worked on any attacking set up for years at Finch Farm. If they have, then it really doesn´t show.

It’s the forwards, wingers the lot of them really. Our fullbacks offer most of our movement which is sad

Extremely sad considering Coleman is completely spent as an attacking force. The amount of times we end up passing back to our centre halves when you think we´re on the attack shows how little our players even back their own ability to take a risk in possession.

We´re crying out for someone to be the star man like Kanchelskis was for that season. It´d completely open up the game for us and actually give the opposition something different to think about. Even our best player Richarlison hasn´t got that aura about him. You don´t feel like something´s going to happen every time he gets the ball at his feet.
 
I genuinely excited for the end of the session as, surely, we will never have to stomach seeing this cross dressing skateboarder take to the field for us on a regular basis again!

Don't mind davies, but he has been awful

Don't think it helps not knowing his role, like what does he do? He's not a dm because he can't tackle, he's not box to box because he's to slow, he's not an attacking mid because he can't score or assist, he's just sort of there jogging around getting stuck in not doing much
