I can see what you mean here to be honest. People calling him a "Scouse King", when if he really was an encapsulation of all things good about the city he'd be hard-working, self-effacing, with a willingness to fight fight fight with all his might for the club. He's none of that.

Two games in a row now where he has, totally unchallenged, passed the ball straight out of play. A ten yard side-footed pass. He just shrugs and walks off.

bad behavior is maybe not the correct term, but maybe it's more that if he put the level of effort into his football that he does his social media and fashion hobby then he might actually improve as a player, i do believe that is what @ForeverBlue92 is meaning. I actually like Toms dress sense btw it shows a bit of personality, but he is rapidly running out of time on the pitch to show what he has.

Oh i agree mate, id be very surprised if he starts for us on the first day next season, i think the only thing keeping him here at the moment is that he is a homegrown player

More time playing dress up & attending fashion events with his mate Bellerin than actually training / hitting the gym.
Lads not progressed in years and instead of fans calling him out they were congratulating him on social media for bombing around town wearing purple heels and dressing like me nan.
Also no coincidence that since DCL has started arsing about with him that he has gone 10 games without a goal / strolling around the pitch more bothered about his hair and showing off his thighs in tight shorts than actually getting stuck in.
Too much too soon with alot of young players in modern day football.
