Been in admin for months I thought. But why I bothered posting that in a footballers thread, heaven only knows.
They're looking at liquidating the company, apparently.

I'll happily put a tow rope at the back of my car and he can skateboard all the way to the Pigg, sorry Bigg, Market to pull some slobbering fatty before signing.

If rumours are true, it would be a good move for him, and I think it would be the making of him. But £12m seems low to me.

I think a move away would do him good. Similar to what I said about Barkley and Dowell, he might be better appreciated at anotger club where he would be given a chance to shine. I don't think he's nearly as bad as some people make out, but he is very much a confidence player. He has struggled the last couple of seasons because our midfield unit has been dire and some of his senior partners have really let him and us down. I don't ever see him as being the on field leader type, and all of his better performances have come when the team finds it rhythm and he slots into that nicely. When the team struggles, so does he.

£12m for a scouse Evertonian that has room to improve seems daft

Problem is, he has been so unbearably crap at times. An actual detriment in the worst way

Couldn’t see it working for him at Newcastle mind, I don’t think they get on their players backs like we do at the ground but they’re a million times worse when they see them out and about.

Verdict - stay

Personally don't see it, looks worse the more he plays.

Newcastle United prepare £12m move for Everton midfielder Tom Davies
  • Newcastle boss Steve Bruce wants to bring in a British core for next season
  • Everton midfielder Tom Davies is a key target for the Magpies this summer
  • The 22-year-old could move for a deal that could cost Newcastle £12million
  • Callum Wilson, Jeff Hendrick and Antonee Robinson are also Magpies targets
Everton midfielder Tom Davies is a target for Newcastle United.
Manager Steve Bruce is a big admirer of the 22-year-old and has asked his club to make a move with Newcastle offering around £12million
Everton are open to offloading some of their squad but Davies is homegrown and has been used regularly by Carlo Ancelotti.

Newcastle United want to sign Everton midfielder Tom Davies for £12million this summer
They would value him higher than £12m and would ideally offload some of their other big earners if they could find any takers.

Everton are keen to strengthen in defensive midfield after missing out on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Tottenham and have made that position one of their priorities.
Bruce has a limited budget but is keen to expand a British core to his squad.
He is close to adding Jeff Hendrick on a free and would also like Wigan Athletic full-back Antonee Robinson for £1.9m but faces competition from Fulham and Sheffield United. Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson is another player fancied by Bruce.

Antonee Robinson could move to Newcastle from Wigan for £1.9millionBurnley's Jeff Hendrick is another player Newcastle could sign this summer on a free transfer

Liverpool-born midfielder Davies broke into the Everton side in 2015 and has since made 121 appearances for the Toffees.
During the 2018-19 season, he was nominated for the Golden Boy Award, but lost out to Matthijs De Ligt, who now plays for Juventus.

The 22-year-old made 30 Premier League appearances for Ancelotti's side last term, scoring just once.
Surely this is @chicoazul’s most elaborate winding up of the Geordies to date?!
