Zero time for the view that what he is interested in off the pitch affects him on it. I’ve played footy with some right weirdos off the pitch but when they’re playing it’s just footy, I don’t see the correlation at all. He is a nice lad, also like that he is an individual. He just isn't good enough he will always be a lower prem/championship player at best for me his best position is a ten and he doesn't create or score much. In central midfield he is largely ineffective.

You’re forgetting the Everton curse that ensures we can only ever pick from Sigurdsson Schneiderlin Davies and maybe Gomes in midfield. I’m convinced we’ll start the season with two of those three yet again. No matter who we buy we just can’t get away from having the slowest laziest midfield in the league.

I agree. Sometimes the wrecking ball approach is what’s required. If they’re gone, it can’t happen.
