Davies, like Sig, is too slow for the Modern game. He is also not as strong as Iwobi or Gomes, and hence whenever he gets the ball, his instinct is to earn a foul. He slows the game, even when we are on the break and that is depressing
I thought he was absolutely fine. Did a lot of good things and some less good.

Thought he played well today. One of our best players, if not our best. Granted it wasn’t a high bar, but he’s kicked on after West Ham. One of the few to come out with credibility. Should definitely be starting.

Gomes is the weak link in the middle - to slow and gives away too many silly fouls.
He's like Schneiderlin in that he doesnt know how to tackle.
