Someone had to take the stick after Barkley went. I like him as a player, pity most of his career he’s been playing in a useless team.
he is the only player in the team willing to take risks with passes. Not all will be successful but I’d rather we try than watching our midfielder doing a timid 5 yard sideway pass and slowing everything down.
The idea is good but the executions needs improvement.

But this is the problem. None of the "risky" passes he makes are sensible. Ffs it's not like he's sitting on a decent number of assists.
I have no idea how people reconcile us being horrendous and performances like the one given by Davies as not being linked. It's mad.

One of our better players yesterday.
Look deeper than the surface mate.
The consequence of playing it safe and slow is predictable without achieving much threat. That’s how we play ourselves to death this season.
We have someone with a wonderful passing % but he ends up being the main culprit of our blunt buildup. 5 yards sideway and all that achieve f all.
The benefit of trying far outweighs the cons.
Our wingers will tend to stay higher which is crucial in many ways and the team will benefit from their pace and power during quick transition. We are actually playing to our strength.
If the pass isn’t successful, we will be perfectly setup for high press because our wingers are always lurking in an advance position. We’re quite decent with high press to be honest, again playing to our strength.
We need to appreciate our kids trying to pull off a difficult pass. It adds variety. Who would have thought our young centerback having the courage to try a through ball the leads to a goal last night.
This team is too conservative and the outcome is always too predictable.

Absolutely right, and no greater indictement of our players' lack of fight and our manager's incapability of turning round a disadvantage.

I think he does play too many Hollywood balls. But what are you gonna do? Bring back schniederlein. We have looked better with TOM. Even against Brighton yesterday. If the ref would have made the correct decisions including our penalty call we would have probably won.
