I think he does play too many Hollywood balls. But what are you gonna do? Bring back schniederlein. We have looked better with TOM. Even against Brighton yesterday. If the ref would have made the correct decisions including our penalty call we would have probably won.

Mostly agree, but IMO you can't discount the awful communication between TD & Gomes that led to Gomes's braindead foul that led to Pickford being Pickford.

I think it's more too do with the fact that fans are stuck in the mindset of how great our academy is. Maybe it's not quite as good as everyone thinks it is? Other than Barkley, who did show flashes of brilliance at times but also seemed more interested in playing the gangster around town...
