Ya he can improve but has not improved in any respect not even physically since his first game. He has the odd decent game but has zero consistency. Has he got any major strength to his game? Again I'm happy to have him as a squad player.
He’s had one really good game in a couple of years. He shouldn’t even be a squad player here if we are to progress to regular European football. Squad players should be pushing for the first team and keeping the first eleven on their toes. He certainly doesn’t fit into that category.

There have been Everton players who I have wished were better than they actually were. Naismith was one, he seemed to be a throughly decent man and I wanted a person of his personal values to play for Everton. Unfortunately he just didn’t have the quality to preform week in week out. I would like Davies to be able to play in midfield and spray passes about, to get stuck in and win tackles and to break up moves but unfortunately he lacks the ability to preform at a level consistently.
That's the enigma of Tom. Granted it was Sheffield United, but in that game he showed me what hes capable of by doing all you say you want him to do. Then next game, back to his cant give a feck attitude.

Think working everyday with players like Allan can only be a good thing for him.

That's never his attitude,he might be caught out of position play misplaced passes but he always puts in a shift.

He’s shown some promise and then hopelessness in equal measure the last 3/4 games he’s played. Seems to start quite well and then once he makes a mistake his game goes to pieces. There’s definitely talent there but needs to put it together for 90 minutes. Realistically he should be doing it without question against a team like Rotherham!

The only compliment I can give him is that at least he doesn’t style his hair in a top man bun like the tits from Leeds...

That’s it.

I find it hilarious that Ancelotti keeps picking him. If he doesn’t bring somebody else in this window to ensure he never has to select him again, then I’m struggling to understand any longer.
