Tom Davies is too valuable a squad member to be sold in January. The lad isn't leaving Everton anytime soon, and nor should he.

He's a useful squad player (sometimes) when we have injuries or a busy period but if someone came offering decent money I'd be packing his bags because I don't think he's kicked on at all, He has 114 caps for Everton he can you say he's really done anything since the Man City goal?

Nothing. That was actually his last 8/10 game for us. He's probably played 100 times since then and been no better than 6/10 in any game. Very poor player who wouldn't stand out in the Championship. He's very lucky to still be here.

I doubt he will be anywhere near the top of the list (I hope) of garbage players we will unload this transfer window. I do not believe we will unload many or even any, anyway.
He might have a future here if Carlo can help overcome his shortcomings.

TAA has won the league and champions league while providing double figures assists, if Davies had helped us do the same we’d forgive him for his poor performances.

In the this new era of football full backs are probably the most creative players on the pitch these days, look at digne we and Dom miss him loads as we have very little without him. Toms defensive mid role isn’t a role which see him getting 10+ assists

That’s not the issue at all. Our starting 11 is a match for anyone. The start to the season proved that. The problem is we don’t have any back up past these 11 players. If one or two are missing we fall apart. Having to rely on people like Davies shows we don’t have a squad of any depth.

I'd say a fit McCarthy would walk into our strongest 11 instead of Gomes and sit behind Allan and Doucs.

Been quietly going about his business the last few games, done his job he has been told to do since taking over from allan, he's obviously not at that level and never will be but he is a good option to have for now. Not going to kick up a fuss, does a decent job when he has actual footballers playing with him. Much rather about 10 other players sold before him

He consistently loses the ball and can't make a decent pass.
Only thing this hippie is good at is dressing like a diva... there are better younger players like moise caicedo who are actually competent
