He's been average for a few years now but I can't remember his Koeman season whatsoever. Has he regressed or is this what it was like?

He did alright, worked hard and always shows for the ball. He loses possession sometimes and makes bad calls under pressure but every midfield player in any team will do. I don't get the hate for him. The only thing id fault him for timigfht was that he was passing backwards a lot but I couldn't see from the tight camera angles as to whether that was because there was nothing showing for him further up with having no proper forwards playing

He showed promise early on , the 4-0 win against Man City has been his highlight. Personally I don’t rate him much and think we need better going forward into next season.

He is active in defending rather than reactive. Which as team we can be a bit passive when we are attacked.

Silly effort to allow the corner.. but that wasn’t the cause of the goal.. otherwise did ok... don’t get as stressed about him as I do one or two others...shows energy in the middle ... far from Allan quality but deserves to start until Allan back

I thought we looked exactly the same. We just took advantage of a set piece at the end.

The reason for that imo is that Doucoure was terrible so swapping Davies for Gomes did little. I thought Davies was pretty good and has been the last few games.

Completely agree with this.

He has a go, kept presenting for the ball, but just doesn’t have the talent to be a consistently good premier league player.

He won’t be near this side in 12 months if Carlo keeps up the rebuild and turns us into a European regular.

Seems a genuinely good fella and stands for everything that is great about the club, that’s the community and having a heart, but he unfortunately isn’t good enough on the pitch.
