I feel like his bar has been set alarmingly low, he has been poor the last couple of games; just not as poor as others, yet people are straight on here to give him MoTM and moan about him being replaced despite him having zero effect on the game.

I get that he had 2 decent matches in a row, but let's not get carried away.

I thought he was good again yesterday aside from a mistake at the start of the game. I kind of understand why he gets taken off when we're chasing the game, as he's hardly going to score/assist, but every time he comes off we lose our shape in midfield.

i take it you're extremely drunk when you watch our matches?

At times, I feel like it would make it easier if I was; but no, I just watch what is in front of me. The last 2 matches has seen a very ineffective midfield, of which Davies was a part of. I agree that he was slightly better than others on offer, but he was still poor; yet people are discussing on here as if the reason we lost both games was due to him being subbed.

Still full of kids on here, i see. No wonder, I don’t bother. He’s awful, end of story...

I wouldn't say he's awful, I'd say he's about a mid-table premier league player but for a club aiming for the top 4 he isn't what we need. I'm sure when Allan comes into the team he will be back on the bench.

We lost the city game cos they're probably the best team in the world and we lost the Fulham game cos we turned up thinking we were best team in the world

He shouldn't be. Him and Allan should be in the same midfield along witt Doucoure (assuming Davies keeps his form up).

He has improved a lot the past month, as he should be as he gets older. I don't think he will ever be a superstar or anything but if he keeps playing the way he has been then he is a perfectly acceptable top flight midfielder. Not everyone is going to be a superstar, there is a role for him going forward though.

Not good enough, championship player at best. Always looking to pass backwards, because if he passes forwards or sideways, it inevitably goes to the opposition.

.
Words fail me. He is the one player always, when possible, to play forwards.

I give up, off to bed for me with dreams we beat the RS
I imagine he is on a fishing expedition.
Nobody could stay watching a game of football for two hours without having absolutely no clue what was unfolding in front of him on the screen.

I disagree. He has shown little improvement in 5 years of being around the first team squad, the last month has been better but he's still not up to scratch to play for a club aiming for Europe. I just can't bring myself to believe he's the answer going forward...
