He's been very very good the last few months and is possibly the most experienced player in that England squad.. So I don't get your comment.

Tom Davies had a decent performance, certainly got caught in possession a couple of times trying to play out from the back which England continued to do.
He was the anchor in midfield in a team that was outclassed but Portugal.
There were far worse players than him on the night.

No, just watched the highlights. I found the WSL coverage on TV much more entertaining than the U21s match. You want to try it. Admittedly only the top sides in WSL are worth watching but the standard is getting higher and higher. The money gap is quite stark in that league.
