In a team of sluggish bland I'd ignore his giving the ball away and give him motm if I hadn't awarded it to the Palace keeper, just for his running.
James would've got it if he could play the 90. :coffee:

Mixed bag from him tonight some good stuff some bad, shouldn't be getting a place in a team every week that really wants European ambitions , saying that neither should Gomes or siggy.

Thought he was decent. Had to cover for Gomes and Soggy all game as well as make way for a marauding Mina.
My god

And like I keep saying about you as a fan. You just lack any ambition mate. Happy to see the likes of Davies playing and the team plodding along in mid table. He was woeful

Go and watch Brighton Man Utd from the night before. And bissouma will show how to play the number 6. He’s aggressive, fast, doesn’t get bullied and spend half the match on the floor giving fouls away. And he never gives the ball away.

Night and day

I never said Bissouma wasn’t decent just that Tom had a pretty good game. You’re a strangely angry person; maybe you need to just relax more and remember it’s just football.

Not a bad performance, gave the ball away a lot and kept to safe passes but he never shied away from the ball.

He is a squad player for us, had Doucoure or Allan been fit, he'd be sat on the bench.

Next season, I think we'll add to our midfield again and hopefully with Gbamin getting back to fitness, I think Tom will be playing very few and far between.

I think we could cash in for him if a good offer comes in.

He’s only a half decent option when we have 25% possession like against the best teams. And he doesn’t need to worry about the ball and just try and break things up, win a few tackles. When he’s asked to get on ball, he’s useless. Like the majority of our midfielders.

Allan & Doucoure are our best two, but even they aren’t the greatest in possession.

I know we created the better chances. But looking at the stats, they had more possession, similar shots on goal & on target, more corners.
This is Crystal Palace ffs.

But it’s the same every week, we’ve seen it at home against poor teams at home.

Ancelotti got some blame tonight and rightly so. But if you’re him watching that midfield and the defence, that can’t keep the ball unless they pass it backwards. I would probably park the bus at 1-0 up.
