I thought he played alright, He keeps the ball nicely and tries to get it forward.

Yes he played alright, done as much as Gomes would have done or more probably...

Sloppy with the pen but other than that done ok...

He wasn’t nearly as bad as people are making out. Unlucky on the penalty and was played very well up to that.

People have made their minds up with Tom mate, no changing that now, even thought he's only 22.

He was fine tonight, nothing over complicated and did the job he was asked - he looked rusty due to lack of mins, and they all had a brain fart for the daft pen, not just Tom.

He can do a job for us under the Don - has to be a better option than the delphs and siggys of the world for me.

Did OK absent for long periods and a sloppy pen (Gomes didn't concede a pen and got slated for it). Nothing special and if Gomes didn't get a knock we would have been more on the front foot IMO

Yes he proved his value to the squad again and he usually does when he plays.
