He constantly pulls out of tackles, what are you on about.

Ive commented lots in the past about how he never seems to come out with the ball when he challenges, but honestly i think he is just utterly crap at it. Dont remember ever thinking he was actually pulling out of tackles. Only really iceland ive seen do that

It was that and him doing an Osman impression regularly losing the ball in dangerous areas that mostly drove me mad with him. Other areas of his game he does show something.

Id like to have him fit for these last games tho tbh

Don’t jump the gun with Gordon, at the same age Davies tore city apart.

Don’t get me wrong I thin Gordon’s got a lot more about him, but time will tell.

All we can do is get behind the kid, the wools will be in here slating him next week.

I just think Gordon has shown a real tenacity where far more experienced players haven’t. Great attitude which I think will mean he has a great career even if it isn’t at Goodison or even the Premier League.

Out until next season, we won’t be able to sell him while injured so probably here for the last year of his contract. Will be interesting to see if Frank thinks he’s worth working with or not. Frank is the perfect role model for Tom, made so much of the qualities he had. Frank was no ball playing genius but his intelligence meant he was so often in the right place at the right time. Had no real pace either.

Yeah that and he had absolutely ridiculous technique

Tom Davies does not, nor will he ever. Not good enough and if he was from Sheffield rather than Liverpool he would not be in the squad
