There is a fixed list of attributes for any players we bring in this season to be guaranteed to improve us…
1) two lungs, both functioning, must be able to be active on the field for 90-95 minutes without the lungs collapsing.
2) a spine, also functioning, must not be scared to death of spherical objects passed to them in a competitive environment.
3) two eyes, both functioning, able to pick out a team mate in a forward position at distances beyond two metres, and a ball floated into their own penalty area.
There are other attributes of course, but those three as the fixed benchmark will improve us no end, calm my ulcer and prevent my inevitable breakdown if next season resembles this one in any way, shape or form.
thank you.
