Hopefully we'll loan him out. He's looked ok but will cost us big time if we play him every week.

Why would we loan him out? Koeman was quite clear a few weeks ago about his plans, train with the first team , get PL game minutes where possible, play for U23s to maintain his game time, develop him at FF. If he was far away from first team squad time I'd agree on the loan bit, but in the past 8 months he's played quite a few games at all levels and is developing nicely . In four weeks or so we'll have Gana, Barry, McCarthy, Besic and any new signing vying for places so Davies unlikely to play every week.

On the 18 year old rookie sliding scale, he did perfectly fine

I think he will get a fair few mate on merit. Hopefully him and Schneiderlin on Sunday with Barry coming on later on to shore up everything as we romp home to a 5-0 win
