Just a tad concerned that given his youth and eagerness he has a tendency to stretch and throw himself into tackles. I fear it's just an ACL waiting to happen (God forbid)

Despite the fact most acl injuries are done with either no contact or from a standing leg being planted and trapped. Not from throwing yourself into tackles.

...ACL usually happen when the knee buckles and the foot is planted. I suppose one could go in a tackle but the pitches are so firm these days it's usually when the foot is on the ground. One good thing about the no tolerance and stricter tackling rules is that Davies will find himself regularly suspended if he's consistently reckless so you would hope it won't be a factor going forward.
