How can we possibly say for sure one way or the other with Davies?

I just want him to get a chance to see what he can do, because right now we're not playing well and it makes sense to me to try something different

It's hardly radical thinking is it?

It's Leicester and Hull away in the League, a League which we have no chance of winning are playing utterly pish in, one good game against Arsenal aside.

Why not let Davies have a few minutes against one of them and see what happens?

He doesn't have to do a full 90, he doesn't even have to start, but let's get him on there for a bit eh?

Jose Baxter worked out well.

....I'd normally disagree with your stance on playing youngsters on almost a trial basis but I think you make a valid point. We have looked better with greater energy in midfield (Gueye/McCarthy), Barry will come back and do the solid job he usually does but perhaps there's nothing to lose playing Davies. Saying that, we thought he'd be ahead of McCarthy and Cleverly in the pecking order but suddenly McCarthy is back in favour.

Perhaps he could play Davies in the Barkley position.

.....we do need to ensure we pick up points otherwise we could drop like a stone.

I honestly don't think we'd do much worse with Davies in

And again, he doesn't have to start, just get him off the bench for a bit

I'd never suggest just playing a kid unless I thought he'd do better than the incumbent player, or at least to par as the incumbent player

It's not a drastic move if we take Barry off after 70 minutes at the K-COM and bring Davies on for the remainder is it?
