...I can only speak for myself but I watch games and highlight the good and the bad. After the Derby there was actually lots of Barry criticism but I highlighted the failure of our 4 offensive players (Lennon, Barkley, Lukaku and Valencia) in pushing the Reds back and relieving pressure. Of those, Barkleys performance was abject. He was extremely poor and I think it's perfectly reasonable to say that.

Too right Eggs. People can dress it up how they like, but Barkley gets excuse after excuse made for him by our fans that other players don't get. No one wants him to fail or are "scapegoating" him, it's just that our fans are 10x more sensitive to any criticism of him than they are with anyone else
