You do yourself no favours sometimes, mate.

For what it's worth (knowing you won't give two monkeys what I think about you), I think you make loads of good points and probe valid areas (oi, quiet), but you honestly do yourself no favours when you not only say things like that -- but you also stand by them.

Mate, I think it was pretty obvious that it was a loosely labelled comment, based on the fact that they were certainly dressed for the part, were tooled up, and had been lobbing smoke bombs into their own team bus.

I think all these labels are subjective, and irrelevant. They were clearly demented people, and no one's defending them. But terrorists is definitely hyperbolic, and I was just pointing out the hypocrisy in you getting offended at the notion of England fans being "tits" and a few words later handing out the exaggerated label of the night.
