grow up people ffs! ooh no sorry you dont have too cuz it only happens to/in england!!

very very sad!

Where did you read/hear/see that?

Sky news? Back of the mail?

They took his quotes out of context, added a dose or seven of hyperbole, and then messed up his England chances. He actually came out afterwards saying he's been asked about the mummy's boy thing or something, and said yeah he gets homesick. Something really innocent, and not really in the footballing context, and they contorted it.

Why? Probably just because it makes a good read to be honest. Nothing cynical, just typical journalism. Fact is, Baines has been a responsible dad since he was a teen. He's a man, make no mistake, and to think for a second he'd not play well for England because he was missing his mummy is as ludicrous as it is unfoundedly insulting.

Has he been on Jeremy Kyle?

same place as you mate hence me saying the word HINTING!

I'd have to stand with immoral, as in;

deliberately violating accepted principles of right and wrong
without regard for morality; "he acted immorally when his own interests were at stake"

The entire set up (Well beyond players), and what seems the majority of the players consistently fall into the above description.

100% agree with this international football is just wrong its impossable to take seriously.

So, Serbia and England have them? Wow, that means its ok?

Ok for these soon to be obese haggis eaters.

but as you said your self he said he might get home sick! so as a manager would you honestly take him to a world cup? and if not then you cant pick the lad for any other games either!

Well, the word is being used here in the context of football. It's a trivial point, immoral loosely means optionally choosing to go against social morality. So assault, adultery are immoral. "But, but, but - they're not as immoral as genocide", but they're still, immoral.

Anyway, the point was, a collective will to win a football match is no doubt adversely impacted by the type of people in that England set up. Top to bottom.

When was the last time England had a good manager? Strange that.

Loving the Nietzschean turn of phrase. Do moral people play better football? I'm sure George Best failed to live the life of a saint. He could kick a ball well. Do moral teams regularly achieve better results than immoral teams?

Did Chelsea win the league because they were more moral than United. Are Everton immoral compared to Liverpool?

As far as a collective will to win, then I think that would depend on many things. hunger, desire, unity, discipline, understanding, morale - being more apparent than the impact of any socially imposed 'morality'.

As for the whole adultery thing, I couldn't care less about the lives of these idiots. People cheat on each other. Most of us have done the dirty on a partner/girlfriend/lover before. its life. The difference is media coverage. That has more impact than any transparent debate about the rights and wrongs of personal conduct.

If you're allowed to go that far back in time then it's getting a bit silly.

Present day, there's some real nutters out there. England fans, Serbian fans and so on. Doesn't matter so much their nationality, in my opinion, it's just a shame they're allowed to ruin the spectacle of football.

Leeds United in the 70s.

I think there is a load of buddhist karma stuff going on here, bad things happen to bad people, and good things happen to good people - well let me tell you, if your nice to everyone, keep to the law, don't spit in church and all, your going to get the good things in life, just not in this life, oh yes, the afterlife will be amazing - be you and your choice of Katona, Ellison and Price, or all 3 if your up for it, soaping it up in the hot tub.

But until then it will be [Poor language removed], and you will need to bend over and take it like a good follower.

Whatever. Roll that spliff, chuck the porn on and get on the blower to Charlie the man.
