It seems like a terrible way to defend Hibbert but to suggest he has the ability of Coleman and decided not to use it is unjust. I think he made the very best of his talents, I believe that if he had the skill to score then he would have done so.
If he doesn't have the ability to score once in over 300 games then that just shows him up as the dreadful footballer he is.
 


There's plenty of dreadful players that have conned careers in this league. Osman being another.

Right place, right time. He was an average defender playing with good players and kept his head down working hard.

If he'd spent his entire career in the Championship/battling relegation with a team in the top flight no one would've batted an eyelid.

....yep, he hasn't got the talent to be a regular top league full back but regardless it should not have stopped him scoring a goal. He can kick a ball, he's got a fair dig on him and he never once scored a goal.
