Something else that stinks here. Where / what was his agent up to? Shouldn't s/he have been knocking on the club's door at the start of the year?

Story doesn't fit.

He should blast his agent (well, if he has anyone besides his wife ), but i guess him and Osman must have the same guy?Poorly handled. They must known that the date was coming up in mid june where PL clubs are releasing the lists of released players? How come they didnt contact the club in advance of this date?

Speak to the club privately via his agent or something do you agree it is the right thing to do in the first place?

If this never happened then he's a plank as is his agent.

Far more likely that the club have simply ignored the contact.

There was your archetypal parasite. Him and Osman But no, they're mancs (Or as good as in osman's case); we'll just take it out on our home grown lad. The model professional who you never read any adverse things about - until the club shat on him by not sparing him the five minutes it'd have taken to break the news to him face-to-face.

just to put Terry's awful treatment into perspective. I also have 18 years service in my line of work. redundancies have been going on for the past 12 months .Workmates have gone, a few, with more service than me, they were give 4 weeks wages per year.which in most cases didn't make up much more than one weeks of Terry's wage. they didn't get a testimonial, they worked 40 + hours a week,didn't get the summer off, sadly they didn't get to go to many places other than the depot we worked in, no trips abroad or around the country.

So not too much sympathy from me I'm afraid.
