If I'd been at the club I love for over twenty years and then on my last day didn't get so much as a thanks and goodbye (or even confirmation that it actually was my last day) I'd be upset too.

Agree, but not upset to the point of going to a national paper upset, right?

I do appreciate different people value different things in different order of priority though, I guess I'm just one of those who'd have fleeting disappointment until I looked at my bank account and though, "oh well, lol".

Agent - 'Hi Tony, looks like you're not getting a new contract'

Tony - 'Why didn't you chase it sooner'

Agent - 'Sorry, was waiting on the Pogba deal'

Tony - 'But.... thats got nothing to do with you?'

Agent - 'I know it's just so exciting!!!!!!!!'

My blood is blue. He slags Everton off, he slags me off.

As simple as that. NSNO.
Going by his words mate, I'd say he is just a big a blue as any one of us. He didn't get a heads up he was leaving and considering he has been here all his career and what 15 years service, I'd be annoyed too.

I mean look at the squad now and tell me one player who will give 15 years of service like him and osman?

I'd probably argue that things have changed at the club like he says. By the end of the old boards tenure they had clearly lost control of things by all the decisions made over the years and moshiri will clearly change how things are run now it's his club.

Going on the got whatsapp news.

I got the impression that the senior players released weren't in the loop over it. As much as we were right to let them go, bit poor to let long standing players go without a heads up so they could arrange a new club.

Thing is though mate we didn't have a manager the time they was let go, saying koeman came in and decided he wanted them then they would of been offered new deals, a guess no-one new really what was happening.

Some right snide beaut comments about him on here.

Bet half most of them stayed and applauded nevile when he did the round with moylez when they buggered off.

There was your archetypal parasite. Him and Osman But no, they're mancs (Or as good as in osman's case); we'll just take it out on our home grown lad. The model professional who you never read any adverse things about - until the club shat on him by not sparing him the five minutes it'd have taken to break the news to him face-to-face.

Osman IDGAF about. Those blame Hibbert for the cup final defeat are blaming the wrong fella.

And of course, it's no surprise to see who the main shitstirrer is. Self-entitlement is it? Well in my humble opinion you take the piss with your own self-entitlement to make such pathetic comments.

For shame.

Don't agree with your vitriol against Leon, I always liked him. But Phil Neville wasn't good for our club, and he somehow managed to become one of our longest-serving captains of all time.

I appreciate it's annoying, but it's modern football. People have been treated worse (Gutierrez).

What was Hilbert's agent doing in all of this anyway?

'sorry mate, forgot to chase it up'
Imagine being Hibbo's agentlol surely been the easiest job in the world for the last 15 years. Every 3 or 4 years his contract runs out, go see Bill with T. Sign up again for the same money, see ya again Tony in 3 years. No interest from other clubs, no desire from Hibbo to look elsewhere, take your slice.

That is true. But least we could have done is helped him find a new club. It's harder to get a contract at his age as a free agent than if he was allowed to go and get one whilst still here to line it up.

The timing probably didn't help too. BK ill, RM and the squad in meltdown. FM probs has no idea who he is.

Osman was always shabbite. Never ran, never tackled. Caused murder by his own admission. Walked away from the 09 final smelling of roses despite crapping on his alleged mate by not protecting him whatsoever and letting him cop for the flak...Rat.

Gibson get pissed and knocks people down, he's also perpetually injured, fat and shabbite. 'But he's our best passer...etc' Total crap.

But people'd fume if that happened to him.

Some right weirdos follow our club.
