Osman was always shabbite. Never ran, never tackled. Caused murder by his own admission. Walked away from the 09 final smelling of roses despite crapping on his alleged mate by not protecting him whatsoever and letting him cop for the flak...Rat.

Gibson get pissed and knocks people down, he's also perpetually injured, fat and shabbite. 'But he's our best passer...etc' Total crap.

But people'd fume if that happened to him.

Some right weirdos follow our club.
Problem with osman is that moyes never played him in his right position and slotted him in along side the rest. Same as Arteta as a right mid for ages when he was better in the middle.

Think that was one of moyes biggest flaws here, the amount of players played out of position, fellaini, anichebe, osman, heitinga to name a few.

Some right snide beaut comments about him on here.

Bet half most of them stayed and applauded nevile when he did the round with moylez when they buggered off.

There was your archetypal parasite. Him and Osman But no, they're mancs (Or as good as in osman's case); we'll just take it out on our home grown lad. The model professional who you never read any adverse things about - until the club shat on him by not sparing him the five minutes it'd have taken to break the news to him face-to-face.

Osman IDGAF about. Those blame Hibbert for the cup final defeat are blaming the wrong fella.

And of course, it's no surprise to see who the main shitstirrer is. Self-entitlement is it? Well in my humble opinion you take the piss with your own self-entitlement to make such pathetic comments.

For shame.
Not me . I gave my ticket away for moyes send off . I weren't going to wish him well after the snide way him and UTD acted .

Thing is though mate we didn't have a manager the time they was let go, saying koeman came in and decided he wanted them then they would of been offered new deals, a guess no-one new really what was happening.
We sacked martinez a month earlier though mate. Could have told him and osman then and they could have found a new club in the lower leagues who would have jumped at bringing them in for their experience.

Now those same clubs are balancing their budgets so it makes it harder to offer contracts to senior pros

What this highlights to me:

1. We've had a number of mediocre players at the club for a considerable time; full of their own self entitlement

2. This mediocrity is infectious; you pander to it and the cry-arses get narked if something doesn't go their way.

3. We have to nip mediocre players early and get them out of the squad. Don't make them think they're better than they are.

For the first and probably only time, I think I agree with you here Damo.

For once I concur damo

First thing we all have to admit, is that the club was wrong to treat them the way it did. Imagine finding out you are effectively fired from pals that read a news website? Just wrong.

That being said, Hibbert has coasted the last few years. Even if he wasn't injured, he definitely wasn't at a level high enough to play here anymore. To sit back and earn more than the average yearly salary in a week while playing about 2 or 3 games a season and then complain about how "It's not the People's Club" because the wheels finally came off the gravy train... It's fairly insulting to the fans, in my opinion.

Which brings up another point actually. This club deservedly earns the name "The People's Club" first and foremost because of the work it does helping the vulnerable in the community. We aren't a charity case for footballers that objectively should have been moved on years ago.

You were a good servant to the club Tony but don't forget you were extremely well-paid to be one. Don't damage your cult hero status and insult the fans by insulting the club that gave you a life that most can only dream of.

If it's too awkward to use Everton's facilities for free, why not ask Moyes for a contract at Sunderland and use their facilities?

I'm sure he'd welcome you with open arms *cough cough*, after all, without David Moyes, we aren't the People's Club, eh Tony?

Problem with osman is that moyes never played him in his right position and slotted him in along side the rest.

Hold up...He's a professional footballer isn't he? He was probly getting more than hibbert, too.

And don't they always tell us they're not arsed where they play, as long as they play?

People are taking Everton Football Club for absolute mugs as well.

Or think they can.

This is the other thing I'm taking from this.

Oh ffs, give yer arse a chance, you po-faced tory blend.

You're lapping up every word from the faily heil because it's in-keeping with your usual nonsensical bullshirt.

I dont know what the majority of the discussion is about, its pretty bloody simple. No matter the player, no club should release a player in that way, especially not one who had been st the club so long. I dont care if you want to bleat about him stealing a wage or wax lyrical about how the club has to act tough and ruthless, there is no need for such a half arsed unprofessional action.I would hope it was an error.

Unless Hibbo is doing the lyings, the wage robbing symbol of our clubs past mediocrity.

Yes you keep pandering to the mediocrity and bad mouthing of the club by Tony Hibbert.

I won't be.

Spot on. We have for many years carried some players the more ruthless clubs would have let go. As a club, we think this is the Everton way....look where that has got us

Getting a lot of what's apps from the rs about this. Have they anything else to do but clog up my storage with dribble. Tony should stick to buying fishing bait with the good money the club gave him. Anyway what is his misses complaining about. And worse why did he mention her.
