I can only comment on Osman the player and I thought he was tidy most times. Not spectacular and had some stinkers, and his pea-roller was embarrassing, but he was fine as a squad option for the most part. Much better than a lot of chaff we've had wearing our royal blue.

Gibson I'm not a fan of...not a fan of Utd cast-offs generally...we always seem to go for their sloppy seconds, it's not really getting us anywhere.

Going by his words mate, I'd say he is just a big a blue as any one of us. He didn't get a heads up he was leaving and considering he has been here all his career and what 15 years service, I'd be annoyed too.

I mean look at the squad now and tell me one player who will give 15 years of service like him and osman?

I'd probably argue that things have changed at the club like he says. By the end of the old boards tenure they had clearly lost control of things by all the decisions made over the years and moshiri will clearly change how things are run now it's his club.

Hibbert must have felt really hurt by the manner of his departure to have spoken out like this.
Throughout his career he was a model professional.

However, he should also realise that Everton gave a very moderate professional a very good living for nearly a decade and a half. Had he chosen to leave there would not have been a queue waiting at the clubs door to sign him.
In addition he was probably kept at the club for three years longer than he should have been.

I think this will sour his memory a little with fans and I also think he may not get the support he expects from fans either.

At the end of the day he should have found out, Martinez was gone, new chairman and kenwright rumoured to be sick. So no one knew what was going on and something went wrong.
