okay mate

“Something happened late in the game after Tim Cahill had been sent off and back in the dressing room, Felli got in my face, pointing at me. I went mad at him and shouted: “Come on then! You and me outside now!” I was proper angry at him for trying to front me. Hibbo got between us in the end."

The reality is he should have been told 3 seasons ago it was the end he has been payed very handsomely for doing little but fish over 3 years, his wife is fuming What the hell is he coming out with comments like that for he should be made for life financially it should be him thanking Everton in papers

How have we gone from "caused murder by his own admission" to this handbags?

A spectacular lack of judgement by Hibbert. To call the club 'a horrible business' after scooping up millions over a mediocre career takes the biscuit.

I think he's banked on the 'he's one of us' calculation and that he'd be backed by supporters. He may have deserved a face to face meeting, but that doesn't cover his comments here. And as for 'didn't get the chance to say goodbye to the fans': arm, you had a testimonial mate.

Overall, he typifies a certain type of player that earned their place and corn under Moyes. It's a cosy group of self congratulating backslappers like himself, Osman, Baines and Jagielka.

Hopefully Koeman takes a blow torch to this lot. They've outstayed their welcome big time.

I wish I was as articulate as this. I've been sat here fewmin not knowing what to write

I think both parties have been somewhat crass in their approach. Firstly, the club should have informed him earlier of their decision not to renew.

It would obviously have been the decent thing and what you'd expect from most reasonable people. Yet, his backlash is equally as disrespectful.

Worded more tactfully and I think the majority of fans would have gone, "Yeah you didn't deserve a renewal but it's still a bit unfair".

Instead, now people are bringing up the last three years and perceiving it more as a spoilt individual who is throwing his dummy out the cot.

On another note though, I think a few of his jibes were more aimed at how he was treated during Martinez's tenure than Koeman's.
