Too much damage already with dropped points at home and those above us are more consistent and have more quality in depth.
But we have come along way already in a relatively short time.

If were close to them with 4 games to play then anything can happen.
We should know alot more about how many points we need after the Brighton game.
Before the last match we had 10 games to play and picked up 1 point. Win against Brighton and its 4pts from 2 games which is good.
If we can get 19pts from these remaining 9 games then we'll be 4th.

I want West Ham to beat Leicester as that will make it a 6 way battle for 2 places instead of 5 battling for 1. Beat Brighton and we are only 6 points off 3rd and 5 points off 4th with game in hand. Plus we play first the next 2 weekends after this so we can put the pressure on for a change.
I'm no negative Nancy but 4 points from Palace and Brighton can never be considered good.

It's not but somehow by the slimmest threads we still have a chance. I keep trying to tell myself it's over but until it actually is I will believe. I think its only me and Zatara left but it is what it is.
I still hold the faintest hope, but its small, very, very small.

I actually think on the last day of the season there could be 6 teams who could finish anywhere from 3rd to 8th I think it will be that close.

We've only got 4 away games left we can knock this thread on the head.
Team only has themselves to blame for spurning opportunities to stay in contention. They need to start winning and see where we end up.

Looking at the teams we lost against, you can see it is a massive missed opportunity this season to have finished not only in the top 4 but maybe even been in the fight to have finished runner up.
It's annoying but this season was always a freebie for me, I've laughed at the results...well maybe not that far...just ignored the TV and Internet afterwards, next season the excuses will have dried up and I expect better. In terms of results and performances.
