I certainly think I’d be less frustrated if we had lost to the big teams and beaten the teams we’d normally expect to beat at home but it’s been a strange old season all round. The frustration is probably compounded by West Ham going so well.Looking at the teams we lost against, you can see it is a massive missed opportunity this season to have finished not only in the top 4 but maybe even been in the fight to have finished runner up.
It's annoying but this season was always a freebie for me, I've laughed at the results...well maybe not that far...just ignored the TV and Internet afterwards, next season the excuses will have dried up and I expect better. In terms of results and performances.
Next season will be massive for sure. If we can nick a Europa league place at least we’ll have that to offer prospective signings.
