Great that he’s given Dixon a shot but ffs why is he being so stubborn keeping Doucoure when Ndaiye has outclassed him every game since he’s joined and Lindstrom had to play 90 mins for the 21s to get game time. The Keane thing is dejavu from last season, keeping him in while waiting for Branthwaite to come back, meaning Tarky playing through an injury to cover both areas when O’Brien should be making his debut not sitting on the bench

The orthodox (I.e. prehistoric) approach seems to be wait for the league cup to give new players 'minutes'.

No idea why the accepted wisdom is players can't be started in the PL until they have Sat on the bench a few times.

Dixon is a surprise but a welcome one. I'm still aghast that some new signings remain on the bench & likewise after last weeks performance Dyche has by and large stuck with the same team. Very odd. Or maybe very Dyche.
