It will be likely because the next fella is crap as well, it’s rare that good manager getting good performances from a squad that the players down tools. I’m not a lover of sacking managers willy nilly but I don’t take last week as his first game. I’m seeing the same mistakes. It’s not professional at all for players to down them…they should be playing for thr supporters, but it does make you wonder if we can see flaws with him, they certainly can. I would absolutely hate to play under him….its not football.

To be honest mate, I just think our players are [Poor language removed] - the majority probably aren’t PL quality.

Changing managers is moving deck chairs around on the titanic.

Decision as to what formation you want to be stuffed by under what philosophy.

Really hope we do something this week.

Regardless of the clubs that have come and gone in the PL, we have remained for some time now, the most predictable club in the PL. You generally know what rough % possession you are getting, know that we don’t score much, know we will get a mullering at least once a year by one of the sky six, and by and large know the results you’re going to get agains them. We need a disruptor - a dangerous move but someone willing to rip it up and start again. Constant fear of relegation means we sit in no man’s land

Yeah, as in points earned on the pitch we still took until 34th game to be "safe".
Yeah just hilarious how this wasn’t the narrative until now.

I also expect him to get sacked but I also expect a reasonable manager to be hired, which won’t happen.

Any manager worth his money is getting more out of these players by the way. Because I’ll be asked to name names - Ipswich don’t have a firefighter manager and look better and more organised and ready with a lot less, having played better teams. Or are we going to pretend they are also better than us?

Point is, if you only look for uninspired “known quantities” you will get exactly that, and Dyche is very much that himself.

Still waiting to be proven wrong and for him to actually adapt to the situation by the by.

And yes, Lindstrom and Ndiaye are much better than their alternatives in McNeil, Doucoure and Harrison, but “surprisingly” they aren’t starting games.
Dixon is also as good or better than Young (low bar) yet it took an actual injury crisis to play him. Why?

Keep backing Everton Away not to score at Even Money for £50 gets you FREE TICKETS and DINNER for the next Home game. Just cant go wrong over the season

Well, I can see what Dyche means about Ndiaye, Lindstrom and Beto. The first two might have nice touches but they aren't particularly effective. Beto is another Dennis, so nothing more to be said.

Dixon was OK in the first half, but tired rapidly (understandably). I thought he was playing wingback at one point in the second half.

Armstrong didn't look out of place when he came on.

Might be time to start watching Bo Nix and staying up late at night. Nah, see you next Tuesday for Doncaster.

You are right they are. I just expect more of an attempt to play football. I would be more accepting of the position that this is the best we will get out of them if we did not have a manager, who does start new players into the team and did not have a reputation for torrid hoofball anyway. We are just not playing to the sum of our admittedly low quality parts.
