Incidentally, Barkley was a laughing stock today. Wtf was that for a performance?

I impressed with the football when we looked like a 4-4-2. I for one don't like Fellaini in support striker role, he should slot back in cm with Gibson when he's back. Mirallas out wide Jela Vic up front. Domination in midfielder was slack today. Should be keeping possession and dictate the pace when we're in the lead which we don't do. Southampton have been doing that well of late

Watching the game a thousand miles away with the sound off so I couldn't hear any daft blurt commentary, until their 2nd goal I thought Walker had been contained well. Unfortunately Baines sold himself just at the wrong moment. That's football for you.

As for MoM I'd have to go with Big Vic, he gave their centre backs a torrid time, just a shame about that last chance but he made it all himself. DoD was Osman, I screamed at the screen in the 1st half when he went square when we had a decent counter-attack on. When he is good, he is very good, but today it was the opposite.

probably because he's had a grand total of about 200 premiership minutes and he's expected to just be super boss against a team who are 3rd? you can't seriously blame the kid, he should have had much more prem expierence by now, playing against the lower teams like norwich, even if it's just 20 mins here and there, slowly building his experience. Not chucked on in games against chelsea and spurs after not playing for a month

Why is barkley getting so much stick, he didn't have a shocking game he wasn't in the game much but he wasn't that bad, he dosent deserve all the stick he is getting, think people are just taking there frustration out on him.

I think all this criticism to Osman is somewhat unfair, I thought he did well as an attacking mid but why he was put of the left wing I'll never know. Especially with Walker's pace.

When you play against a team that can make 6 changes, use 3 subs and have 20 players on loan then the Fer deal does,nt make a lick of difference.
So having a quality midfielder coming in wouldn't have helped at all?

True, given Oviedo can play left-back/left-midfield and is quicker! Then Osman could have been put back in the middle where he belongs.
