Dammit I win a football bet at last and it's against us! Still, it's the second best result - we don't lose and I win money.
My main problem with these away matches when we go a goal up is we revert to a bad type...look back and see how many posts said "saw that coming" when their second went in. We didn't say that against City because we kept pressuring. It's exactly that, that got us all those 1-0's back in the day on the way to 4th...we harried, we kept pressure on the carrier and kept tight. We now lay off, open up too much and let the other side play it. Why? It's failed us too often. I can MAYBE see doing it at home, but not away.

We had chances/half chances today to make it 3-1 that would have sealed the win for us.
So close to rolling through to Osman straight after we took the lead, Vic had a chance to either play Jelavic in or go by Caulker but instead he only got a tame shot away resulting in a corner, we also had a great counter attacking opportunity but Gibson wasted badly, you had a feeling it would come back to haunt us.
I thought Osman had a poor game today, as did Baines, and Distin had one of them days when you felt anxious whenever he was near it, first half hour especially.
An amazing goal that, real shame it wasn't a match winner.
Can't see us finishing any higher than we are, its a damn shame there's nothing for 6th place this season.
