Agree, but Spurs will probably allow him more space than Villa did, as well as the back line sitting a bit further forward, so he could exploit that.
 

Quietly confident myself also, I think Kev will get a fair amount of space to run at them and cause mayhem. Would like to see Traore at some point. Hopefully at 3-0 up. In all seriousness, I think it'll be a close contest but we have the heart to win it.

That's not the problem, it's that his movement isn't suited to the position and him playing there robs us of an in form and very valuable inside forward, especially needed if Deulofeu isn't even on the bench.

I'd have Vellios up front ahead of Kev, just so Kev would be in his natural position. It's square pegs, round holes, and the exact mistake Martinez made tactically ahead of the Villa game until he played a blinder in the second half.

Lad its the way it always is. I knew we wouldn't win vs WBA because it was Mels first home game in charge. Stuff in Football is common sense. Anichebe scored vs Liverpool simply because he played for Everton. If he had played for Fulham before his move I guarentee he wouldn't have scored. Jelavic will score past Everton or Liverpool in next season. Bookmark it. People actually think this will be an easy win for us.

Guarentee I've been to more games than you also.

If I'm a kopite why have I been on here for so long? Why have I spent thousands on Everton? If I'm a kopite why do I have a facebook page on Everton and a twitter account with 20k followers? Why have I had a ST since I was 12?

Just because I'm stating facts doesn't mean I'm a kopite.

This. Kev struggled to look across the line and kept straying off. Naismith is the more natural No.9 and it showed when he came on. He plays behind the main striker much better and will get more space to run in that position today.
 
Think Naismith should start, Super Kev in the hole, Geads and Pienaar on the wings. Give Barkley a rest for the 1st half, put him and Traore on early 2nd half if we're struggling.

A win here would be huge, seperating 5th and 6th place by 4 points, 2 points behind the RS.

how many chances has he had to play that position for you to make that judgement?
