Watched the Hojberg tackle on Richarlison again and feel that should have been a straight red. Got nowhere near the ball, excessive force in my view and then had the gall to roll around as if he'd been fouled. Also annoyed me the way Kane came in pushing our players away, glad to see Mina at least push him back.
It was the only time that Kane did anything yesterday. That Hojberg should have been off without question - Spurs had lost the plot at that point.

They were up against a clearly superior opponent in us yesterday. I've seen that all too often before hand with us being on the wrong side of that lesson. Hopefully we get to see that type of response from 'big 6' teams a number of times again.

Easily a red. The kind of tackle the VAR man should have been having a word in the refs ear about for sure. 2 footed and totally out of control, always been a red that.

Spot on about Spurs, they were fouling us all over the place, you could see that they had lost their rag, but only one booking, another stinker against us from Atkinson.

Everton, probably through Carlo, should make a public statement and draw the attention of the referees to these dirty tackles on Richarlison. The longer
it goes on the more likely it is that he will eventually be badly injured. He does overdo the reaction sometimes, but that doesn't mean it isn't dangerous and it needs
be stopped.

It's been going on for a while and he will keep being targeted if nothing is done.

It was the old fashioned take everyone out in your way approach of goalkeeping. Exactly what you want in your keeper.

I think that you are being harsh on the centre backs there though. I thought they were organised very defensively and disciplined in maintaining the defence's shape. But if Allan keeps on at it like he does, then they may be allowed to take some more initiative if they're up to it.
Mina and Keane didn’t come under any real pressure, thankfully, Mina was slightly better than Michael, they both unnerve me, Keane will never put me at ease, I’m anxious every time the opposition attack with Keane defending, yesterday the two new midfielders, Allan and Doucouré did a superb job of shielding the defenders and made their task much easier, I was more than pleased with those two, adding to the luxury of James’s talent.

Oh I am of the opinion now that whoever will improve us, get them in. No one should be spared if that's the case. I fully agree on Allan's and Doucoure's performance yesterday and the effect it had on the defence.
