We are far too slow, at this level you have to break quickly and get back in shape if it breaks down.
Top 6 sides can be got at, but only on the break, it needs to be decisive and accurate with a great finish as the end result.
Anyone else watch some of the training footage? they must be there filming for hours to get the amount of on target shots they show.
2 great chances today absolutely wasted, these are professional players who should be making the goalkeeper work at least.

if maupay ran into lloris, the spurs players would be surrounding the ref and pressuring him to consult with VAR to overturn it

our wet wipes put their heads down and moan and accept it

….it was a penalty and wouldn’t have been overturned by VAR.

It wasn’t a mistake by Pickford, it was a double mistake. Fumbled the shot, but then should’ve had the presence of mind to pull back rather than plough into Kane, he’d over hit his touch & wouldn’t have scored.

Very rash & a lack of class you’d expect from a top keeper.

Indeed. Not sure but I think Iwobi was probably sleeping for the goal and not tracking back. What happens when you play players out of position. I might be wrong though
there's merit to that too
It all went v bad when Rondon on for Gana...it was still only 1 goal and Rondon is rubbish
Overall Spurs did a job on us without breaking much of a sweat
New away will be tough too and then we have a few winnable games

this was literally pickford v kane situation

They're saying on sky our game plan worked and giving us praise...haha ... jesus wept.... if that's us playing well we're goosed ...anytime we play anyone half decent we just sit back and wait for them to score ... no belief , no cajones ... and even last week we scored 1st and absolutely caked ourselves .
I think this unbeaten run everyone kept going on about was a bit of over kill ... we only barely beat West ham and Southampton, and look how bad they've been this season .... we won't be far off 17th again this season , we're rubbish!!

….tbf, I understood what Lampard was thinking. A goal down with little time left, you could see when Garner went on he gave him instruction to hit the box with crosses. I’m sure Lampard wanted to add to our aerial capability. It was a risk if it meant us conceding but we needed a goal.

i was actually encouraged when he brought Rondon on because I saw the logic even though he’s useless.

….you know my view on that, I think he’s high risk. I repeat, I’m surprised we couldn’t find somebody more effective than Maupay in the summer.
I suspect he was well down the list of strikers they fancied but were desperate after those first two games.

With no threat up front it gives the likes of Spurs and Utd the opportunity to release men to flood the midfield and overpiwer us. Sitting deep against a strike force of Kane ,Son and Richie was suicide. Saying that Lampard had few other options to take the game to them. January i am sure will be the striker window for us. Rest of the team is able to cope.

I know what you mean and had he sneaked a goal or made space for someone else to score I'd be singing a different tune, I admit. But I think it is a 1 in a thousand chance that happens. They immediately took over the midfield and we barely got a sniff.

Go to bed mate. We are nowhere near any of the top 6 so don't think we are brilliant. Don't forget last season and look at us now. Marked improvement but still far away from the top teams. Slowly but surely does it. You need a dose of reality

Horrible performance, expected defeat as the owner calls it , the Bobble releasing team news 8 mins before our club does, I’m curious can someone get our win ratio when this has occurred .
