I think with multiball, I'd be showing Tarkowski and all the players that clip where he boots it straight out when he got their first clearly and telling them to take a touch and clear it further up the pitch. To just boot it out was a bit needless and poor in my opinion. The throw in came in quick and 10 seconds later we'd given away a pen.

Or smash it against the boarding so it bounces back in play and they can't take it quickly.

Don’t be an ostrich. It’s quite clearly poor recruitment. That money is wasted now. Those two players are no good to us now and going forward. You are just talking nonsense at this stage I’m afraid. Lingard? What you on about.

McNeil scored the winner at Southampton. Maupay the winner at West Ham. Use them right, they'll perform.

I mentioned Lingard because he's shocking yet some would say when he was on a free to take him on. That's the ball park we we're getting into.

Bottom line is we would never replace Richy unless we spent Richy money. We brought in 5 defensive players instead.

We'll see what we do in January

That was a very hard watch. What was the game plan? 0-0 and then hope to snatch one? Second half was painful, with no attacking threat at all. Brought on DCL and Garner and let them have the ball for 20 minutes. Annoyed

It was a flattering scoreline as we were always in the game until the ridiculously soft penalty(dive). Tottenham started great but after riding the storm for the first 20 minutes we grew into the game and we should have been ahead at half time but you can't miss two one on ones and expect to get any points. I think the Gray one bobbled but Onana simply has to hit the target, contrast it to last week when we gave the ball away cheaply twice and were punished but we didn't do the same today when he chance came our way.

As a few of us feared Richarlison was the game changer as they got bettter as soon as he went off!

The game plan was spot on. Be difficult to break down and score on the break. We should have been 2-0 up at half time. You want us to play open and be 5 down after 50 minutes like last season??

Unfortunately our average players had particularly bad games and against teams like that, you get punished. Not much more to say.

Had 2 one on ones. Could've been a goal or two up while they huffed and puffed.

Fine margins.
Spurs weren’t great by any means, and we had 2 clear chances from 2 long hopeful balls over the top. If you ask any spurs fan (yid4life for example) he will tell you that in the majority of their matches this season, spurs have been pinned back in their own half for large chunks of their games, even against the so-called smaller teams. We couldn’t sustain any significant pressure even after going one goal down.

That is a very worrying sign.
