Did ok in the 1st half looked organized 2nd half was so submissive bunch of cucks to be honest didn't think we would get anything from the game anyway
if anything we are predictably beaten by any team in the top 6

The bottom line is that we aren't very good....or just good for that matter.

….it’s a bit of a throwaway statement.

We are actually decent defensively & I include Onana and Gueye in that collective. Beyond that, I think your point is more accurate. If Lampard/Thelwell have improved us defensively, they really need to now address our attacking options because we carry very little threat.

Maupay is industrious but adds very little in terms of the quality or technique we require. Perhaps he’d offer more coming off the bench, I’m surprised we couldn’t find somebody more effective than him in the summer.

I’d be surprised if we don’t bring in a potent attacker in January

I'm sick to the back teeth of peole believing we have a future waiting on DCL coming through. We're sunk if we do.

Ok well I don’t know what to say to people who think bringing in attackers wasn’t the most important thing to do. The evidence is apparent in every game we have played.

Of course it is but we used the money overhauling the midfield. It's alright saying McNeil and Maupay were poor buys but with the limited funds what do we do? Lump it all on 1 attacker? Still leaves us light. Buy 3 £10mill players on a gamble? Jesse Lingard on a free??

Forest are gone. Pretty much take your pick from the bottom half for the other two.

Will say Soton 19th, and a likely fight between us, Leeds and Wolves for 16-17th.

Can't wait to have one eye on other results next spring, hoping Wolves don't win by 2+ goals while Jupiter occults Venus.
I think you can add in Bournemouth, Villa, Palace, Fulham into that. We've also in our first 10 games played Chelsea, Liverpool, Spurs and United- likely to be 4 of the top 6. We just need to make sure we're on it and pick up results against teams who will be between 7th and 20th. We failed to do that last season and that dragged us into the mess we ended up in.

Pretty much what I expected, we just weren't good enough. Wasn't impressed with the subs tbh. No way Gueye should go off and McNeill stay on, I thought it was a mistake to bring Rondon on hen DCL was already out there, surely Maupay would have been better running past DCL for the flick ons. Still, I guess the coaching team had their reasons.

We can't afford to have two players who are like balsa wood on the ball and bullied into losing it immediately...McNeil and Gray. Why they stayed on God only knows. Poor Onana is having a bewildered baptism of fire here though hopefully with games and intensive training at FF (of should it be FFS) he will improve. Ah well.

The recruitment in the summer wasn't good enough regardless what people say. 2 decent results didn't change that.

That front 3 is absolutely not an acceptable level of quality for Everton Football Club.

Two bad results (against teams at the top of the table) and all of a sudden we’re gash again ?

The summer window was good but obviously we’re lacking up front but we knew that coming into this game beforehand.

Talk about throwing the baby out with the bath water

If we could feed the strikers we have, we'll be fine.

We saw McNeil nearly link up with Dominic Calvert-Lewin once. Ditto Garner. Either we need another actual target man, or wings that can find Maupay on the ground to slot. We don't execute Plan A or Plan B well enough right now.
No, No, No.

That plan will relegate us.
