Limp, listless, submissive, pathetic. Just some of the words that come to mind after that.

No quality in our play at all, again.

With a few minutes left and pinned back in our own box said it all for me. Any other team, even the Fulhams and southamptons of this world would have pressured them and kept better possession than we did after going a goal down. We just can’t seem to maintain any length of sustained pressure in games. 1 or 2 minutes is our maximum. Why is that?

Had 2 one on ones. Could've been a goal or two up while they huffed and puffed.

Fine margins.

Been saying it for a while, he’s a bench player at best.
Don’t get wrong he can do a job defensively but he never even tries to take anyone one or get down the line and get a cross in. Patterson is great and since we lost him, it’s been a big notice with out threat going forward.

Think we will see another winger and another cf, esp if they club still trying to get rondon out. We still have one more loan dont we. Just really need to be able to rotate out wide when gordon gray not playing well
As far as Im concerned right now we have NO strikers. We need to use the January window to get two strikers in.

For me it's as simple as that if we want to stay up.

Of course it is but we used the money overhauling the midfield. It's alright saying McNeil and Maupay were poor buys but with the limited funds what do we do? Lump it all on 1 attacker? Still leaves us light. Buy 3 £10mill players on a gamble? Jesse Lingard on a free??

Don’t be an ostrich. It’s quite clearly poor recruitment. That money is wasted now. Those two players are no good to us now and going forward. You are just talking nonsense at this stage I’m afraid. Lingard? What you on about.

My thoughts exactly. United and Spurs squads are light years ahead in terms of a few game changing players surrounded by above average players. We made it difficult-ish for both of them, conceded pretty limp goals that could have been avoided and missed very good chances ourselves.

We are still very very poo, but its now finer margins between poo and mid table than it was 9 months ago.

That said, if we don’t beat the likes of Palace and Leicester in the coming weeks, then we will be 18th going into the break.

Theres no reason why we wont beat those teams.

Would like to see Garner given a start, maybe next weekend against Palace in place of Gueye. Think he would help us dictate the play more.

I’m not holding much hope for today. Just hope we’re as competitive as we’ve been this season and see a reaction from last week and still in the game in the last 10/15 mins.
Think we’ve lost every game against conte including a couple of 5-0 hammerings. Plus Kane loves a goal against us aswell so optimism in short supply today. A point would be brilliant, but can see a valiant 2-0 defeat here unfortunately.
A Kane goal and a 2-0 defeat. I should have put money on it ?

What I noticed today;

Yet again the wrong formation against a club with better players
Everytime the ball went out Spurs made use of the multi ball system. Our players were still looking towards the stands not knowing the throw had already been taken.
McNeil, hate criticising players but wow that a shocker of a game, along with Maupay, talk about not being able to control a ball, just awful
Frank left it too long again fkr chsnges
Dcl should of come on at half time
Pickford did what Pickford does, saves a great strike, then fluffs his lines
0 shots on target says a lot
All in all, an Everton performance
