Unfortunately probably true.

Three consecutive away days, and defeats mate. I think they'll be looking forward to some home comforts and a hopefully partisan crowd as they need it at the moment.

Superfan me.

I wish we were all like the brilliant chicoazul!
Seriously though we need a break from bad luck and injuries :/

Agreed, but in the past we've managed to keep clean sheets with a bog standard back four. I couldn't tell you why it's not happening to be honest, maybe it is the cohesion of players not having played together much.

We're also not scoring from set pieces nearly as much anymore. In fact I can't remember the last time we won 1-0 with a goal from a corner or a freekick.

First came which game to me was Man citeh away .. Cahill with a last minute winner (last season) but i really don't know!

Oh and the freekick part, probably because Heitinga keeps smashing them into the wall.. seriously what is he trying to do !?!

I think it's a combination of things. Lack of balance, players playing out of position and a lack of understanding.

But also what's infront of them, we don't have Neville or Arteta who provided a reliable shield infront of the back four.

Rodwell and Fellaini isn't that reliable or well balanced combination. It lacks aggression, experience and positional awareness.

We'll let two in for sure.

Whether or not we can get two ourselves against Spurs is a different matter entirely.

I'll go for 2-1 to Spurs.

Didn't miss it by much.

Ah well. One less competition to play in and more time to give players the chance to recuperate.

Moyes didn't speak but him who's face needs a good ironing did.

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admitted he had some sympathy with Moyes, but said: “We all face problems with fixture congestion at some time.
“Everton put their best team out tonight. They didn’t put a bunch of kids out. They had Fellaini, Saha, Distin, Cahill and Yakubu out there.
“Everton might say they only put out what they had, but I was the same. We only had what we had. Everybody who was fit was there tonight.
“We were in the same boat as David. He wanted to win and so did we. He could have played five kids but he chose not to.
I haven’t got a squad as big as Everton. You go through their top players, there’s more at Everton that there are here.
We haven’t got a big squad. I’ve got four strikers and four central defenders, but after that I’ve only got three central midfielders. Most have six. We’re not overloaded.”

Surely he's taking the piss. Here's hoping they underwhelm as usual despite the media cottaging them on a daily basis.

I'm now more convinced than ever that we need to start giving our young strikers an opportunity, and see if we get a little slice of luck in the process.
It's pointless having inexperience on the bench at this level.
