Of course, but and this is what I don't understand. It's not a new occurance, we have had injury problems all season, we have lost key players since last season.

Moyes has had opportunities to work with the players, get them equipped, is he not doing his job? We used to have this immense team spirit, all for one attitude. Has that gone?

Exactly, but there was a time when we had enough players to make up for the loss of Arteta and Jagielka. Neville, Baines Osman and Pienaar where fit and Bilyaletdinov was being introduced into the side. We went on a mini winning streak, looked balance, defended well and scored alot of goals.

But now we don't have the likes of Yobo, Baines, Neville, Osman, Pienaar and Bilyaletdinov and we simply don't have the squad to deal with that. We are lacking quality in certain areas at the moment, areas that make the difference. A ball winner, creative players and experienced centre backs.

As I say, the first eleven is very capable, as our some of the subs (Yobo, Osman, Heitinga) but beyond that there isn't alot and we simply can't deal with the amount of injuries. We are Everton, not Manchester Utd or Chelsea. We don't have strength in depth.

Those who are sick of hearing about our injuries are overrating the ability and quality in depth of this squad. We have a decent squad, a top six squad, but it's not world class and 10-11 players out will no doubt push it to the max.

Well I doubt Graeme Sharp over rates our ability.

But Heitinga, he's an experienced international, why is he ducking out of the way of crosses?

I agree but why do we still not play some of our "highly rated" youngsters?
Baxter, Agard, Coleman (ok he's played a little bit in the wrong position), Duffy.... Are these not good enough to be given a chance even when our players are clearly tired, demoralised and in a cup which we always do bad in!?

We're just used to Everton grinding out single goal victories even with a team that's imbalanced and lacking quality. Unfortunately we just haven't been able to do that as our defence hasn't been as solid as it once was. I'm talking about all the years under Moyes, not just the last few.

It'd still be strong if it was at full strength and had a midfield shield infront of it.

He's one of the worst commentators going to be honest, hasn't got a clue.

Yeah maybe.

Truth be known we probably lack the most important factor in any team, and it's not the creativity or the defensive know how, or even the astute finisher. It's the leader. We have none. I believe Jack will do it one day, but at the moment we have nobody leading the players.

Says a lot when Neville is on the touchline in his suit barking orders at the team.

I reckon we pick him and have him just stand on the centre spot screaming [Poor language removed] at players. We could drop Jo, for all the good he does.

The only highly rated youngster there is Jose Baxter.

And no, it wouldn't be the way to go. Especially as we already have players like Gosling, Fellaini and Rodwell in the side. The side is lacking experience as it is.

Fellaini is only really lacking English football experience, and Agard was recently said to be extremely like Saha?

Well we do but there all out injured.

Jagielka, Baines, Neville, Arteta and Pienaar are all leaders in there own right. Players who organise and communicate aswell as players who take the ball under pressure and take responsibility.

Well I was kind of looking for Cahill to do it. I actually saw him as a captain, but then I guess when Moyes gives it to Osman first it just shows the lack of leadership skills the boy has.

Neville will be back soon, thankfully.

I think it was Agard himself who made the comparison to Saha mate.

He's potential and nothing more at this stage, great to throw on if were cruising three goals up but not in these troubled times, I reckon anyway.
