THey are entertainers on a bike. Money and drugs often go hand in hand in this business. Let them be if they decide to be morally corrupt.

It's a hell of a competition.

Doping talk aside, can't help but feel Froome has been a bit shafted by the media. They were all loving it when Wiggins won last year, back pages were full of it. Froome's victory has been more impressive on a more difficult parcours and yet he has received a fraction of the attention.

...I would add that Froome hasn't had the quality of support from his teammates that Wiggins had. Porte appears to have done a great job for him but other than that I can't remember the support that Wiggins had last year. Well done lad, and we shouldn't doubt that the victory is clean unless there is evidence to the contrary.

Agreed.

....I'm increasingly growing to like Froome and thought he handled yesterday's press conference very well. He's not ducking any issues and I'm of the view that his win is an incredible achievement. I wonder what will transpire next year, more specifically if Froome and Wiggins are both fit and still with Sky who will be identified as the team lead.

Froome is clearly the best cyclist out of the 2 so they'd be crazy not to have him as the main man again. Not to mention he did a brilliant work last year (if not for team instructions I'm pretty sure he'd have won it) and Wiggins pussied out of helping him this year.

I'd love to see, in performance terms, a pre-post doping comparison!

I reckon probably Contador would be the one to look at.
