It's pretty awful, but is made even worse by people going in there and crying about "FIFA loving beauts, bellends and BAWK-ites fuming" all the time.

Fair point. It's not constructive.

I've said many a times now, complaining about jarg transfer talk on a forum in the summer is akin to going to a beach and complaining about sand.

It's inevitable transfer talk on a football forum is a tad tedious. As is the subsequent moans about that talk being tedious.

All ears on how to improve it...

Currently we confine to one thread, with the OP linking to credible threads. What else can we do?...

From reading some of the posts on the thread, it seems like people want to hear every single link about a player joining. Whether that be from Martinez's mouth or the metro making up stuff, they just want to keep up to date I guess.

Personally I'm not that bothered by the above, as I can check elsewhere if need be. But rushing through pages and pages of the transfer thread to see 90% of posts that have nothing to do with transfers is a little annoying.

Thats a reaction to the cause. But a valid point none the less.

External factors though isn't it - there's nothing credible/significant to discuss a the moment.

First post lists links to whats credible, and a new thread will be created, so no need to read through all the tedium.

Worked in theory, but in practice we just had two threads that mirrored each other. The second thread was as infuriating because people couldn't grasp the word credible.

So we reverted to as it's always been on here. One big jarg thread - with credible threads being moderated started.

Also, bring back Del with a full license to do what he did best.
