I'd be absolutely delighted with Yarmolenko. The hiding he basically single-handedly gave us in Europe left quite an impression.

Yarmolenko would make sense. More sense than Shaqiri ever did imo. Could be our new Pienaar and we could certainly do with such a type. Looks like Barkley might be starting to live up to his enormous potential, so maybe a left sided playmaker is just what we need.

Is he really a playmaker? I'd say he's much more an inside forward based on that two games we played against Dynamo.

He's probably quite Mirallas-esque in his tendency to cut inside from what I've seen (not a lot). But they're not gonna trip over each other if they play at the same time.

They'll merely thrive off each other's attacking potency and utter silk.
